San Juan's ajiaco, feeling of the people from Camagüey

The first day of the San Juan in Camagüey was treated as a festive occasion witha large celebration with the tradiional ajiaco. On the afternoon of June 24th, neighbors and families have come together to have a great time and to savor one of the tastiest dishes of the Cuban cuisine.

For the children of the film club Elpidio Valdés, summer has a special proposal. The project The Alley of Miracles is responsible for the event “Know your city”. This will enlighten them to know, along with their parents, the city where they live using creatively mobile devices of their available resources.

One of the country’s most traditional festivities, San Juan in Camagüey will catch fire on the streets of this ancient city with a wide range of proposed festive activities and others attached to the most authentic tradition of the city between June 24th and 29th.
