Two exhibitions celebrate the careers of notable sons: The Whistle of Silence by Agustín Bejarano and Patrimonies of Cuba by Bienvenido Letford. Both artists, with different styles and paths, pay tribute to their hometown with exhibits that summarize decades of dedication to art.

 The 34th City Hall was inaugurated, from the Alejo Carpentier Universal Art Gallery, under the question: How do I look... how do you look?, as a challenge for the public, and established and new artists, who participate in this occasion, ideal to celebrate the 510th anniversary of the town of Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe from the different gallery spaces of this city.

The Students Hall in the Arts Academy Vicentina de la Torre exits the schools to settle in the centric Gallery of Universal Art Alejo Carpentier, in this city.
