Plans of Literary Cafés in Camagüey

The Provincial Book and Literature Center in Camagüey has in project several literary cafés with a greater prominence within the cultural landscape in the territory.


The Sociocultural Project eJo turns 19 today. They arrive to this age in dismay for the recent loss of one of its pillars, Julio Enrique Hernández Figueredo, but in the middle of pain they find the courage to move on in this city.


Candita Batista, the Cuban Black Vedette, would turn 103 years old today. Adelante Digital remembers her, with her wide smile and humility, through this interview published in October 2010. She passed away on April 1st 2016, but she remains in the memories of her birth home Camagüey.
