Over 1000 children of thefirst and secondary educations, from all the municipalities, demonstrated with their exhibitions the skills acquired during the academic year in 48 special interests´ clubs that compete in this edition.

Consistent with the needs for the province, the majors of pedagogic profiles are the most represented, accompanied by specialties like Civil Construction, Transport, Hygiene and Epidemiology, Infirmary, Gastronomy and the Culinary Association.

One of the groups who takes part is “Por una sonrisa feliz”, of the school Josué País García. The teacher Yudit Aucar López, of the faculty of Stomatology of the Medical School Carlos J. Finlay, kicked off this school year to work with this club “The experience has been very good and we try to extend it to the high school. Our target, apart from the vocational orientation, is that the children also learn feeding habits and how to make a correct dental brushing”, she ensured.

“Agriculture is also a priority for the province, and although the situation has changed a little, there are still problems to complete the specialists and with its absent material studies base. It worries us that the company of services does not deal with the trade formation like shoemakers, hairdressers, etc.”.
