“Our path at the university has not been easy, we entered this big house without knowing it (...) We are the generation that began through the screens, when the danger of a global pandemic was still frightening, we are those of digitalization, of the Abdala vaccination, those of the investigations and those of the Red Zone, but here we are today, university degree in hand, because we overcame those and many more obstacles”.
The rector of the institution Dr.C Santiago Lajes Choy announced the incorporation into the working life of 35 architects, 236 engineers, 126 agronomists and veterinarian doctors, 90 lawyers, 85 professionals in areas of social sciences and communication, 601 in pedagogical sciences and 170 graduates in physical culture, 169 accountants and 37 economists, who will contribute to the socio-economic development of Camagüey and eight other provinces of the country.
The day that is considered one of the most important days in the life of a student was dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Revolution, the 71st anniversary of the attack on the Moncada barracks and the commemoration of the 57th anniversary of the founding of the Alma Mater in Camagüey, the first of its kind created by the Revolution.
