CAMAGÜEY — With a program designed to promote learning, recreation, and community engagement, the provincial socio-cultural project Golpe a Golpe is offering a wide range of activities throughout the summer break for participants of all ages.

Kay Gómez, the project's communications coordinator, said the Amateur Dance Competition took place on July 10th, Thursday, July 16th, and July 22nd, following adjustments to its original schedule. The competition provides an opportunity for participants to showcase their dancing skills.

 Also on the summer agenda is AfroArte, a learning space scheduled for July 9th, 17th, and 31st. The initiative will bring together local entrepreneurs, encouraging the exchange of knowledge and experiences.

 Families can also enjoy the children's gatherings Choco-Sueños and Dulce Hogar, a themed family event. Ten complimentary tickets will be raffled off for each activity, while additional admission will cost 100 Cuban pesos.

 As part of the summer program, the project is also offering its Summer 2026 Continuing Education Courses, held weekly throughout July and August. The courses include Library Science, Oral Storytelling, Playwriting, Basic Drawing, Sewing and Dressmaking, Cuban Popular Dance, and Basic English.

 Gómez noted that the activities announced so far correspond to the July schedule, while the August program is still being finalized.

 Through these initiatives, Golpe a Golpe is promoting a summer in which culture, education, and healthy recreation provide meaningful opportunities for the community to learn, connect, and enjoy the season.
