Faced with the complex epidemiological situation, the Provincial Defense Council approved extreme actions to contain the disease in the municipality of Camagüey, currently in a phase of limited autochthonous transmission. Similar measures will be applied in the territories of Nuevitas, Céspedes and Esmeralda, three of those with the highest circulation of the virus.
