CAMAGÜEY.-The Taínos Interfaculty Games, the main sporting event of the University of Camagüey Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz, will return from March 5 to 20, to define which is the most athletic faculty of this center of high studies.
On this occasion, students will compete in a total of 19 modalities and for the first time, Baseball-5 is part of the event's official program. In addition; a discipline that repeats in the calendar, but still without giving points for the competition, will be the Shogi or Japanese chess.
The first week opens with sports and does not give time to heat the engines. Go, Domino, volleyball (beach and indoor), basketball, table tennis, baseball, football 11 and of course the exciting Feumatch will break the cored and give a vision on who could take the cat to the water in these 46th games.
For the second week, the table of positions must be red-hot with the additions of athletics, swimming, chess, football-5, Kikimbol, and rookie baseball 5 that: Will the panorama be more clarified or become more entangled?
Meanwhile, for the last dates of competitions will only subtract the closure of some modalities and end with the Bailoterapia to combine sport and culture in the same space.
In this new version of the Tainos, the rest of the selections will seek to dethrone the faculty of Physical Culture, queen of the last four editions and favorite to repeat the title. There is also the additional incentive to prepare for the National Universiade, to be held at the Central University "Martha Abreu" of Las Villas, from April 6th to 14th this year.
