Psycho-oncology is a field of study and intervention in the psychosocial aspects associated with the diagnosis and treatment of patients, their families and the health team, and also linked to aspects that affect the risk of developing cancer. Just on April 7, the World Health Day, the Medical Consultations section turned six years old. Since that first time the objective has been, first of all, to guide readers so that they can prevent diseases that are possible, to mitigate those that are not possible to prevent, and that the best advice always comes to them with a breath of hope. The issue of medications to be used in each condition is never addressed to prevent them from being used without a prescription. The title of this Medical Consultation corresponds to an exhortation of Dr. Pablo Hernández Figaredo, Second Degree Specialist in Psychiatry, Assistant Professor and Consultant, Master in Social Psychiatry, from the René Vallejo Psychiatric Hospital, in this city, and also the president of the Camagüey Chapter of the Cuban Society of Psychiatry, to whom we turn in search of his criteria, especially due to the imbalances that we may suffer in times of pandemic.

The number of infections with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus that causes COVID-19 has been increasing throughout Cuba and the province of Camagüey is no exception. For this reason we request the criteria of Dr. Yamina Rivero Fernández, specialist in Pediatrics, Master in Infectious Diseases and Assistant Professor at the Carlos J. Finlay University of Medical Sciences, in this city. She works in the respiratory service of the Eduardo Agramonte Piña pediatric hospital.

Health personnel constitute a special population that is doubly vulnerable to COVID-19. While the risk of getting sick and dying is one of the most fatal consequences related to the pandemic, they not only feel threatened by the virus within their work area, but also by constant concern for those who leave home.

Ectopic pregnancy is an increasingly frequent entity; however, there are preventive measures, and the main prophylaxis is to avoid unwanted pregnancies.

The main sequelae left by SARS-CoV-2 in Camagüey's children are psychological: behavior and sleep disorders, anxiety, restlessness and lack of concentration, results supported by the multidisciplinary follow-up consultation in the outpatient center Eduardo Agramonte Piña Pediatric Hospital.
