Cuban President Raúl Castro Attends Mass by Pope Francis at Revolution Square

Pope Francis Says Process of Normalization between Cuba and the United States an "Example of Reconciliation"

Pope Francis Has Landed in Havana!

With the care of a wished reception, the State has prepared everything. Everyone is included even the authorities of other religions have joined.

The arrival of the Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church has caused enthusiasm beyond the parishioners; it is a creeds phenomenon but also historically, politically and culturally.

The papacy of Francisco has overcome the image of the Church dragged per centuries: a small theocracy of distant men of the life of the common people. The once cardinal Bergoglio is a Pontiff worried for bringing the ecclesiastic doctrine over the people, after all that is the God's desire. And it was confirmed last September 17th across his video for the Cuban: Jesus loves you very much, Jesus leves you seriously.

His condition does not dissent from the human work, of the problems of the nations, just by following his words and actions in Ecuador, Bolivia and Paraguay last July prove it. He is a man opened for the communication with the world; he knows that the Church is a way and not an end, it is a way for the well-being of the peoples and the pacific coexistence among the nations.

Francis comes to Cuba and then he goes to the United States in animportant regional context for both countries, but also for the whole Latin America. The continent lives at present through processes of dialogue and of cohesion, of brotherhood, and he has supported them. In our case there is recognizable the influence exercised by Francis in the negotiations and reestablishment of the relations between the United States and Cuba.

Camagüey, city of the churches and of visceral piety, will not be visited by him but it have the desires of welcoming and to show respect forthe first Pope of American origin in many years, to the Missionary of the Compassion, to the humble man who will go to the sanctum of the Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre like another pilgrim, like a son who is longing to come to his mother´s house. But it does not matter in what cities he will offer his masses. Beyond his words, the above mentioned ones and the ones still for saying, Francis has said very much.
