Cuba extends application of HeberFeron throughout the country

The use of HeberFeron, a drug created and produced by the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, in Havana, has spread throughout the country by opening more centers in different municipalities.

Among all general hospitals in Cuba, the university hospital Manuel Ascunce Domenech reported the most elevated figure of surgical interventions across the country (27 463). Eleven of these were kidney transplants during 2019. The aspirations were around 25 000.

Bruno Rodríguez, Minister of Foreign Affairs, heads the Cuban delegation that is currently participating in the high-level segment of the 43rd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, which is being held in Geneva , Switzerland and in which the largest of the Antilles will condemn the US blockade against the Cuban people.

Digital platform contributes to the Cuban economy
