Cuban Special Zone announces first Portuguese investment project

A 5.6 million-Euro project in the area of construction and engineering will be the first Portuguese investment action at the Special Development Zone in the western Cuban harbor of Mariel.

Cuban province works hard to restore its citrus plantations

The Camagüey municipality of Sierra de Cubitas, second in the country in importance in citrus production after Jaguey Grande  in Matanzas, shows a recovery in this area, with 212 hectares (ha) of new orange ,grapefruit  and Persian lime plantations.


The Industrial Company for Informatics, Communications and Electronics (GEDEME by its Spanish acronym) of this city assembled the first 3,500 laptops and 3,583 tablets for governmental agencies and organizations.
