Cuba Vaccinating Against Seasonal Flu

The vaccination campaign against seasonal influenza is beginning today throughout the country, aimed at children under two years of age, pregnant women and people over 75 years old, among other vulnerable groups.

By the consolidated work during the current year, the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC, Spanish acronym), received this Friday the condition of National Vanguard and headquarters of the central act by the 57 anniversary of the Organization, to be held on 23 August.

Youth gift to Chávez and Fidel: Cuba for America

The path-tribute Cuba for America will happen from today until next August 13, as an offering of youth in the Latin American and Caribbean Homeland, and birthday gift to two colossi of its history: Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías and Fidel Castro Ruz.

With the magisterial conference “Cultural and symbolic War, the challenges of the Cuban youth”, led by Iroel Sánchez and Yosuán Palacios, the Provincial Festival of the Youth began this morning in Camagüey. The appointment assembles delegates of all the municipalities, with the objective to debate about the Cuban reality and the role of the new generations in the future of the country.

Hundreds of Vertientes´ citizens saw the sun going out in the Square July 26 to celebrate, on behalf of the Camagüey´s inhabitants, the Day of the National Rebelliousness.
