The tourism industry could contribute some 3 billion dollars to Cuban coffers, thanks to the 4 million visitors Cuba received in 2016, according to an expert.


The Cuban National Seismological Research Center (CENAIS by its Spanish acronym) made a better use of science and technology to monitor seismic activity in addition to an application of an early warning system to alert the population in 2016.


On December 30th, Cuba reached the 4 million tourist mark, for a 13 percent growth compared to 2015, reported the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR).
