CAMAGÜEY.- Fernando González Llort, Hero of the Republic of Cuba and President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, said in Camagüey that the policy of the American president Donald Trump is doomed to failure, since the Revolution will continue its progress, referring to the recent statements of interference of the tenant of the White House.

 In exchange for young foreigners who are studying in Camagüey´s universities and with representatives of foreign communities residing in the Province, González Llort said that together with the Cubans will remain friends from different latitudes, as demonstrated before the declarations from interference in the affairs of the tenant of the White House.

The Cuban antiterrorist - one of the Five who suffered unjust sentences in prisons of the Empire- described as disrespectful to the speech of June 16 in Miami, with the presence of criminals who took pleasure in a show that turns into a business for the anti-Cuban sector.

 At the headquarters of the ICAP subsidiary in the territory, expressed that this is the time to intensify the struggle against the blockade and for the return of the Naval Base in Guantánamo, with the support of the Brothers from all over the world.

With the Bolivian student Dayana Subirana, who is attending the sixth year of the career of medicine at the University of Medical Sciences Carlos J. Finlay, talked about the need that has always had the Island to avoid terrorist actions, from 1959, on the basis of the desire of the American administrations to defeat us, still in force.

"You have to meet the commitment made with Fidel, as graduates, to serve in your communities in your respective nations, where there is a need for medical services with the humanistic approach that is learned in the Cuban Academy," emphasized the Hero.

Fernando González highlighted that this is a province of an intense cultural life and emblematic institutions, and such programming is inserted ICAP villager headquarters, located in the Liberty Avenue, which serves as headquarters to multiple theoretical and spaces to the presentation of works of plastic artists and musical groups, as recently occurred during the Feast of the Tinajón(large earthenware jar).

During the dialog that the Hero of the Republic of Cuba Fernando González Llort had in Camagüey, with foreign scholars and members of communities of various nationalities resident in Cuba, highlighted the work of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples in favor of the solidarity and expressed appreciation for the tireless struggle for the liberation of the Cuban Five.
