The principal event of the Camagüeyan plastic arts will be provided this time with artists of Cuba, Spain and Canada in competition for a scholarship of creation.

As the Lounge is dedicated this year to the 120th anniversary of the birthday of the local painter there were selected the works that were representing with major loyalty the contemporary language, the idiosyncrasy of the origin of the presented creators, characteristic feature of the Fidelio plastic art, said Ernesto Escobar, president of the Provincial Visual Arts Council of Camagüey.

The event, as in previous years, will not be concentrated but it proposes the interactivity with the public from dissimilar provincial galleries, the museum and the library, the Alley of The Miracles and the Circuit for the Exhibition, Development and Research of the New Media (CEDINM), in addition to other alternative spaces.

Among the guests are the philologist Maeva Peraza, the critics of art Danilo Vega and Hamlet Fernández, the researcher and curator of the National Fine Arts Museum Roberto Cobas, as well as the Camagüeyans Teresa Bustillo, Doctor of Sciences of the Art and Estela Ferrer, Graduated in Art History, also protagonists of the debates.
