Apart from the seven already existing facilities in Nuevitas, Sibanicú, Camagüey, Florida, Vertientes, Santa Lucia beach and the provincial palace Camilo Cienfuegos, the Direction of Education (DPE) foresees to condition in every territory school centers so that they welcome children and adolescents in the summer season.

Gipsy Santigo Atanay, official of the DPE informed that the program designed for over 6 000 pupils, every week will include trips, visits to historical places and recreational centers, exchanges with children from other places and activities of vocational formation and guidance.

The initiative will prioritize fundamentally the participation of children and girls who live in peripheral areas of the provincial capital and in rural and intricate areas of all the Camagüeyan geography, also to those who during the academic year were highlighted by the good teaching outcomes and by the participation in the Jose Marti Young Pioneers' Organization (OPJM).

Santigo Atanay told that 52 schools and 78 sports areas that will open in July and August will be working for the children, in addition to the community activities that instructors of art and teachers of physical education will realize in different quarters.
