Up to the ancient town of Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe there came this Friday, the 118th reporters of approximately 20 countries, proceeding from foreign, national media and from the accredited press in Cuba.

The participants in the event knew about the delight of our metropolis in a brief trip that included the Hotel E. Santa María, the Street of the Movies, Bar Casablanca, Hotel La Sevillana, still in construction, and the gastronomic complex La Campana de Toledo. In the same day they covered the tourist resort of Santa Lucía beach and its nautical centers.

One of the participants in the journey, Yoselin Corrella, reporter from Venezuela Television, mentioned to the press that “it is the first time that I come to Cuba and I am surprised, not only for the wonderful destinies that the country offers but for the warmth of its people. I go away the most pleased and with the responsibility of showing the Venezuelans everything we have seen”.

Víctor Veloso Pimienta Delegated of the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) in the province told that in FIT Cuba 2015 was done a presentation dedicated to Santa Lucía, where Manuel Marrero Cruz, minister of the branch, referred to the business opportunities of the territory and to its perspectives of development.

The post-tour also includes the visit to the provinces of Holguín and Santiago de Cuba, where they will wrap up today.
