CAMAGÜEY.- Well, it's time for the mameyes. The time has come to adjust the belt and clear the way through so many forests.

It is time to define the reality of our sovereignty that some place at stake in their own way and convenience. Some trying to promote foreign interventions and others throwing nets into troubled rivers, all putting at risk what really matters: the Homeland.

The strategy applied by all this charged reaction at times that are socially and economically complicated for the country, rather than opportunistic, it is criminal to try to destabilize national unity at times like these. What to think of those who put their own families in danger of contagion, due to ignorance, conscious criminality causing discontent and riots.

Today and always, even before the triumph of the Revolution, when people lived in inoperative multi-parties and a kneeling republic, faced with avant-garde policies and actions and development, the reaction was never lacking more for payroll than for raising awareness of those dawn of different mornings.

Revolutions are not made in aseptic laboratories, where errors do not fit. Each revolution in its concept of the objective it pursues is shaped in the street by people and social groups. Due to environmental influences and even due to its own contradictions. It is the only objective way to scale values. Realities and social thrusts with which the community seeks to break through, it is cooked in the streets.

The street that today and always is a multifaceted tribune, a modern monster sometimes dispersed in encounters and disagreements, but generally a coincidence of ideas that consolidate the bases of experiences and laws where the harvest of citizen sentiment is gathered. The streets are not betrayed, on the contrary, it is the scene of all the daily experiences that make our nationality possible.

Our streets, which belong to the work of the Revolution, which belong to you and us, cannot be betrayed. Therefore, in this moment, in this hour, those who are driven to unreason must know. You already know that for the Revolution the clarion call in the streets announces that to get rid of so much scourge, the time of the mameyes has arrived.
