CAMAGÜEY.- An increase in exports from the Camagüey subsidiary of the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets (FCBC) from next year to increase the acquisition of raw materials, one of the main constraints currently suffering from our artists.

The art, an undeniable potential in Cuba for the talent of many of its exponents, increases its sales possibilities to the outside of the country from the FCBC, and Camagüey develops new perspectives among which the plastic arts excel.

For five years now, sales are considered to be exports through credit card readers, or POS, teams located in the main galleries of avant-garde artists of the city, an achievement that the subsidiary consolidates with the joint work of all the Factors involved.

Isabel García Rosales, senior specialist in plastic arts at the subsidiary Camagüey del FCBC, explained that the objective of the new export prospects is to expand and diversify this important source of liquid money entry to the country.

This increase in the exports in Camagüey, which is expected to begin to materialize next year, will lead to better conditions for the creation, by increasing the possibilities of buying the materials of creation for the plastic and applied arts.

In addition to improving one of the most complex situations in the current art scene, new exports will be an essential item for the progress of the national economy.
