It should have been the formal meeting to establish the organizing commission of the 10th Congress of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac) in Camagüey, but it came to a critical debate. That is what national president Luis Morlote aspires to, not only within the circle of the 14 selected people but within the membership.

The Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac) celebrates this August 22th the 60 years of its foundation. Camagüey had a direct impact on the constitution due to key figures in the leadership of its processes, and to the attitude of the members because being from the organization means defending the Revolution.

The Union of Cuban Historians (Unhic, Spanish acronym) will develop on November 20 the IV Colloquium Fidel Castro, devoted to the revolutionary fight from 1952 to 1958 in the country and to the Revolution in power from this province.
