Five days before the same previous period, Cuba reached this Monday one million tourists, said Manuel Marrero Cruz, Minister of Tourism, considered one of the sectors of the Cuban economy.

By the end of the first half of this year, 136 913 Americans visited Cuba, 79.7 percent more than in the same period of 2015, although none of them traveled as tourists due to restrictions imposed on Cuba.
