Presided over by Esteban Lazo Hernandez, president of Cuban parliament , Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, president of the Republic and PM Manuel Marrero Cruz, the Council of State held a session on Thursday.

The Cuban Parliament elected 34-year Susely Morfa, leader of the Young Communist League, a new member of the country´s Council of State.
