Cuban foreign minister, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, highlighted today the role of biotechnology in the country, which guarantees health and saves lives despite the permanent choking of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States.

One of the lines of scientific investigation with better results in the history of the University of Camagüey  is the one dedicated to the Biotechnology, however, its contribution to the Cuban and world science could be much bigger if there did not exist the economic, financial and commercial blockade that the Government of the United States.

Camagüey.- The Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology located in this city, is one of the leader entities in Camagüey, for the productive and economic outcomes in the field of the science.
