I had seen Tatiana Morales Rodríguez around. I knew about the Russian woman who has lived in Camagüey for more than four decades, but I had never actually spoken with her. Just a few minutes before the Book Fair press conference was due to begin, we finally had the chance to talk briefly.

After a series of postponements and adjustments brought on by the country’s complex circumstances, the Book Fair will finally arrive in Camagüey from Friday, August 28, through Sunday, August 30, becoming one of the city’s main events to mark the end of the summer season.
