It is the exhibition that will assemble the collection of this Camagüeyan painter, hoarded by the National Fine Arts Museum (MNBA) and the Provincial Museum Ignacio Agramonte.

And this is an obligatory attraction of the already next Lounge of Visual Arts Fidelio Ponce de León in its XXIXth edition, which in this occasion bets for the esthetic alliance between the spirituality of the people and its time.

From September 22nd until 25th the metropolis will be breathing Tradición + Contemporaneidad (Folkgeist + Zeitgeist), the concept of the event, that this year opened for artists of the whole country and beyond its borders. But this innovation does not represent the loss of opportunities for the local creators, since 30 locals will be participating, along with four from other provinces and two foreigners.

In the evening of the first date the opening of the contest will take place in the Alley of the Miracles of popularly well-known street of the movies. There the company La Andariega will offer a work inspired by the contemporary dynamics, typical of the painting of Ponce de León and conceived especially for the Lounge.

Other spaces for the exhibition of the 39 works and four projects chosen will be the Gallery Larios, the Gestus of the House of the Young Creator, Fidelio Ponce of the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey, that of the Foundation Caguayo, that of Republica 289, a room of the Provincial Museum Ignacio Agramonte and the Library Julio Antonio Mella.

The mornings are reserved to the theoretical proposals in the Circuit for the Exhibition, Development and Research of the New Media (CEDINM) in the head office of the Festival of Video Art of Camagüey, while the Gallery Pixel will welcome the audio-visualS, and the Square of the Workpeople will be an accomplice of an action of intervention to ensure the interactivity with the public.

The Fidelio promises talent and in this XXIXTH edition is reaffirmed like a thermometer of the best that is created in the province, and now also out of its limits.
