CAMAGÜEY.- Camagüey's Folkloric Ballet will premiere this Sunday the work of Ochosi-Oddé at the Avellaneda Theater in this city as part of the group's 29th anniversary, as reported in a press conference.

The audience will enjoy a virtuous and technical show in the musical and dance aspects, where for the first time a dance body acts as hunters performing the dance of Ochosi, representing, praising and invoking his tutelar orisha, said director Reinaldo Echemendía Estrada.

In addition to the premiere, the official call for the festivities of its 30th anniversary and the 10th Festival Olorum, dedicated to Bantu culture, was announced to be held from September 8 to 12 September 2021. This will honor the thirty years of artistic life of the first dancers Elsa María Avilés Carmenate and Janixe del Rosario Jiménez Sánchez.

The group plans an entire year of events and projects under the slogan "Thirty Years Radiating Aché", including the recording of its first record, with the EGREM brand, the national and provincial tour Radiating Aché, the making of a documentary for its three decades, the representation of some of its main works such as María Antonia and the premiere of the great production La vida te da Sorpresas.
