CAMAGUEY.- The group of the farm of different productions and services of the division of the Company of Logistics Azumat in Florida, admits among the main priorities for 2020 to keep the increases of the porcine mass, of the making of feed and the diversification of its productions.

Juan Serrano Montano, the director of the center, said to the press that the sowing of 10 hectares of different cultivation, with banana, yucca and sweet potato fundamentally is very favorable, since these agricultural products are used in the food making for animals, alternative to the lack of imported prime matters.

Serrano Montano told that in addition to the proper harvests, they make use of the food remains of the Company of Gathering, and they are working at the starting of a mill to process the thick straw of the rice and to incorporate it in 10 or 15 % into the feed.

The official explained that also they experiment with a plantation of ornamental flowers and there encourage the babies of rabbits, sheep - goat cattle and quails. Also he said that another action to extend its productions is the short-term incorporation of an area of five knighthood for the bulls fattening.

The farm of different productions and services of Azumat in Florida has the order of preparing feed for the units of the managerial group AzCuba in the provinces from Las Tunas up to Villa Clara, in addition to the pork meat production with fundamental destination to the industry.
