CAMAGÜEY.- The photographies taken by professionals of the press in this province during the sad days of December 2016 occupy again the gallery Nicolás Guillén, in the newspaper Adelante, in an exposition that shows the Tribute of Camagüey to our Fidel.
The Colloquium of the Written Press opened this Tuesday with the presentation of 25 images —“that in the future will tell those who did not live it, about this homage of the people to the leader of the Cuban Revolution”, and “that were accomplished by the photographers with honesty and heartbreak”, as pointed out by Daicar Saladrigas and Yanetsy León, respectively.
After the songs performed in the seat of Adelante by Carlos Dragoní and Daniel Velázquez, two young musicians from Last Tunas, who participated in the trova event Canto Adentro, the Colloquium had a workshop to talk about the experiences of journalists and photo-reporters, during the diverse visits of the Commander to Camagüey and in the days of the funeral procession.
José Gilberto Valdés and María del Carmen Fuentes, from Television Camagüey, Marta Martínez, journalist in Radio Florida, and Félix Anazco, Yurislenia Pardo, Enrique Atiénzar, Orlando Durán, Yanetsy León and Diosdada Sagarra, these last ones from the newspaper Adelante, shared their experiences of a coverage that “gives us oxygen to talk about, even if it has been three years, because it will not repeat itself and it were days that the daily duty was activated”, according to the director of Adelante, Daicar Saladrigas González.
The Provincial Colloquium of the Written Press, that will close this Thursday in the Revolution Square Ignacio Agramonte, in this city, will have for the morning of the Wednesday 27, a workshop focused on the updates of the rules of the Spanish language and the conference Audiovisual Realization for Multimedia.
